AFL-CIO AND THE NATIONAL COUNCIL ON CRIME AND DELINQUENCY| Aurora evaluates criminal justice, crime prevention, crime resistance and delinquency prevention projects. |
Aurora evaluated the program performance of the Labor Youth Sponsorship Programs of Ft. Worth, Texas and Cleveland, Ohio; the Crime Resistance and Criminal and Juvenile Justice Reform Project, Crime Prevention Counselor Project, and the ‘Citizen Participation toward a Safer Community’ project. This was an initiative commissioned by the National AFL-CIO with the goal of reducing the escalating presence of juveniles in the criminal justice system. Aurora’s qualitative recommendations resulted in improvements in the management structure and maximized service delivery of the organization’s crime and delinquency prevention programs operating in diverse communities across America.
